For our annual Web Lecture and Office Trip we visited Kolkata, India. Over 70 Websters from Shanghai, Jakarta, Singapore, Penang and KL were gathered, together with Labbers from Milan Research Lab for the first time this year.. staying at the The Oberoi Grand hotel in the heart of the historic Kolkata.
The traditional "Web Lectures" were held in the event space, specifically created by Forum at the 'Deya' of the Atmosphere, our bespoke residential development in Kolkata.
The team then made a special visit to inspect the 100m long structure of the Deya, spanning across the two residential towers at 100m above the ground level. Subject of a recent National Geographic program as part of the Superstructures series (video link below).
Other events included cultural visits to historic quarters of Kolkata, the museum, mother Teresa’s home, and other places of interest. a team dinner with special guests was held at Lalit in the Great Eastern hotel.
An altogether fulfilling and successful trip filled with formal and impromptu programs of team building, bonding and sharing of ideas ….
