The first in a series of fascinating short films giving an insight into the world of Web Structures has been completed and is now available for viewing.
The ‘Web Structures Spotlight” series will explore the many different projects that the team has successfully delivered across the globe.
The first min-documentary looks at the fine work Web Structures carried out to help turn Foster and Partners vision for the Capella Resort in Singapore into reality, through its use of pioneering Fusion Engineering techniques.

Foster + Partners’ Capella Resort on Sentosa Island includes a six-star hotel, villas and a centrepiece garden courtyard.
The project frames two carefully restored historic colonial buildings and it follows the natural contours of the site, cascading down the tiers of the hillside as it dissolves into a 12-hectare tropical sanctuary.
Web Structures’ team had to use all its expertise and innovation on the project, which blended the old with the new and included constructing a new development right alongside the old colonial buildings.
The second in the Spotlight series features Web Structures involvement in another high-profile iconic Foster and Partners designed building.
The Troika is a three-tower, luxury condominium development which has been created in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and which is now one of the most prestigious addresses in the city.
The project comprises three apartment towers - of 38, 44, and 50 storeys respectively - which together form the tallest residential development in Malaysia.
With its seemingly impossibly slender blades of shear walls reaching more than 200m into the skies, The Troika, like all of Web Structures projects, sets new standards of excellence.
